Chapter One
Where It All Began
Before Honey Tribe had a name, it had a foundation. I grew up surrounded by women who knew how to make beauty out of what they had, how to carry faith through uncertainty and how to show up for the people they loved.
My grandmother was one of the first people to teach me that strength could be gentle, that elegance could be lived and that faith was not something reserved for easy seasons.
She gave me more than memories. She gave me a way of seeing women: layered, resilient, worthy and full of stories that deserve to be worn with pride.

Becoming
Finding My Voice
For a long time, fashion was more than what I wore. It was how I spoke before I had the words.
Clothes became my armour. A silhouette could make me feel brave. Colour could lift me. Texture could hold a memory. Getting dressed became a quiet way of choosing who I wanted to be that day.
Through fashion, I began to understand that self-expression is not vanity. It can be healing. It can be a declaration. It can be the first step back to yourself.
Preparation
The Detour That Wasn't
My path did not move in a straight line from dream to fashion brand. I studied accounting, built a career and learned how businesses live beyond the beautiful parts people see.
At the time, it felt separate from the creative life I imagined. Looking back, I can see that God was preparing me.
Accounting taught me structure. Work taught me discipline. The seasons that felt like delay gave me the tools to steward a vision, make hard decisions and keep building when inspiration alone was not enough.
What looked like a detour became part of the blueprint.
The Breakthrough
One Outfit Changed Everything
Sometimes the next chapter begins with one brave decision to be seen.
I created an outfit, shared it and watched it travel further than I could have imagined.
The moment Claire Sulmers and Fashion Bomb Daily brought attention to my work, new women began discovering the brand. The response was immediate. The audience grew. The messages came in. A private dream suddenly had witnesses.
Going viral did not make the journey easy, but it made the calling harder to ignore.
Expansion
Building Something Bigger
What began as personal expression grew into rooms filled with women, stories and possibility.
Fashion shows, pop-ups, fittings, late nights and customer messages gave Honey Tribe a life beyond the clothes.
I saw women stand differently when they found a piece that felt like them. I watched strangers become supporters, supporters become friends and customers become part of a community.
Honey Tribe was becoming bigger than a brand. It was becoming a place to belong.
The Breaking
When Everything Fell Apart
There was a season when the things I had built, trusted and loved seemed to unravel at the same time.
I was carrying grief after losing my grandmother. I was healing from heartbreak. The business was changing. Algorithms shifted. The rebrand demanded more than a new name or logo. Financial pressure made every decision feel heavier.
I questioned the vision. I questioned myself. Some days, faith looked less like certainty and more like choosing not to let go.
But the ending I feared became a place of rebuilding.

Fear Not.
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
Her last words stayed with me: “Do not be afraid. God is with you.”

Dear beautiful woman,
Thank you for finding your way here.
Honey Tribe has carried me through more seasons than I can count. It has been a dream, a lesson, a prayer and, at times, an act of faith. Every collection holds a part of that journey.
My hope is that when you wear Honey Tribe, you feel more connected to your own story. Not hidden by the clothes. Revealed through them.
