Article: Fall 9, Rise 10.

Fall 9, Rise 10.
Failure doesn’t always mean you’re going backward.
Sometimes, you’re failing up.
You’re learning. Adjusting. Growing. Becoming better with every attempt.
Life is full of trial and error. You try something, it doesn’t work, you figure out what went wrong, make an adjustment, and try again. The goal was never to get everything right the first time.
The goal is to keep moving.
Get Back Up
There will be seasons when it feels like you keep falling.
Fall down nine times. Get up ten.
Every time you choose to rise, you prove that the fall didn’t get the final say.
Maybe you have to change the plan. Maybe you take a different route. Maybe you start over. Maybe you finally admit, “Okay, that didn’t work.”
That’s not weakness.
Sometimes growth begins with being honest enough to ask:
“What can I learn from this?”
Because the mistake itself may not be the lesson. What you do after it can be.
Success Is Rarely a Straight Line
We love celebrating the breakthrough.
The success. The answered prayer. The finished product.
But we don’t always see what came before it.
The closed doors.
The bad ideas.
The mistakes.
The moments of doubt.
The attempts that went nowhere.
The days when someone questioned whether they should keep going.
We see the rise, but we rarely see all the times they had to get back up.
Success is rarely a straight line. Sometimes you have to stumble your way into the person who is ready to carry what you’ve been praying for.
And maybe that’s what this season is doing for you.
Fail Forward
So fail if you have to.
But fail forward. Fail up.
Take the lesson. Make the adjustment. Try again.
God can use the detours just as much as the destination.
You don’t need a perfect journey.
You just need the courage to keep showing up.
Because as long as you are willing to rise one more time than you fall, your story is still being written.
And maybe the fall wasn’t the end of your story.
Maybe it was just teaching you how to rise differently.
With love,
Linda
