We Are Honey Tribe

There comes a point where you stop dressing for approval and start dressing like you already belong.

That is where Honey Tribe lives.

Honey Tribe, formerly known as MIDGETgiraffe, was born from my Nigerian roots.

It started with African print.
Bold. Expressive. Unapologetically cultural.

These fabrics carried history, identity, and pride. I wanted to reimagine them through modern western silhouettes, not to change their meaning, but to give them new life in today’s world.

It was never just about fashion. It was about honoring where I come from while creating something that could exist now.

But growth has a way of calling you forward.

When we evolved into Honey Tribe, it was more than a name change.
It was a reflection of who I was becoming.

My foundation will always be rooted in my African upbringing, but my vision has expanded as I’ve grown.

This past year, traveling across parts of Asia shifted something in me.

I was drawn to new textures, more intentional silhouettes, and a different kind of boldness.
Not louder, but deeper.

And I found myself asking, how do I bring this into Honey Tribe while staying true to who we are?

The answer was simple.

We don’t abandon our roots. We build on them.

Honey Tribe is still grounded in culture, story, and identity.

But now we are blending influences.
Bold prints. Modern cuts.

A conversation between continents.
A fusion of experiences.
A reflection of growth.

At its core, nothing has changed and everything has.

We are still here to empower women, especially those who have been overlooked, underestimated, and marginalized.

That mission will always be our heartbeat.

But there is something deeper driving me now.

In a world that feels increasingly divided, I want Honey Tribe to stand for connection.

Our pieces are not just clothing. They are statements. They are bridges.

They show that cultures do not have to compete.
They can coexist, inspire, and elevate one another.

We are a tribe.

And a tribe is not about sameness.
It is about unity.
